KMC Controls has released a major new version of its primary operator workstation software, TotalControl.  Version 3.0 began shipping on August 17 with significant enhancements and over earlier versions and related changes.   

Enhancements include a greatly simplified installer to speed installation, full MS Vista compatibility (with Windows 7 support planned for Feb 2010), and support for KMC’s popular new FlexStat™ BACnet controller and sensor.  Other new features include an OPC driver as well as a Protocol Gateway Service to improve interoperability. 


Purchasing options have also been simplified and prices have been lowered for most system configurations.  On a related note, KMC announced the availability of Software Maintenance Plans for calendar year 2010 and beyond.  The plan enables all installed sites to receive upgrades and patches for one, fixed price per year, facilitating better budgeting.
